Dec 11, 2016  Battlenet Application Encountered an Unexpected Error Solution. Battle.Net Download Link: https://us.battle.net/account/downloa. Apr 10, 2017  We are still investigating what is causing this. I do not have an ETA on a permanent fix yet. In the meantime we have been seeing that disabling streaming in the Blizzard App and/or deleting the Hearthstone cache files have helped. Disable Streaming. 1) On the Blizzard App click on Options and then Game Settings. 2) Click on Streaming.

  • iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Force the app to close.
  • Apple Watch: With the app open, press and hold the side button to show the power options. Then press and hold the Digital Crown to quit the app.
  • Apple TV: Double press the TV/Home button and swipe left or right to find the app with the issue. Then swipe up to close the app. You can’t force apps to quit on Apple TV (3rd generation).

Restart your device

The fix that worked for me was right clicking Battle.net Launcher.exe then click Properties Compatibility tab check the box “Run this program in compatibility mode” from the drop down select Windows XP (Service Pack 3) also check “Run this program as an administrator” click Apply OK. Apply the same settings for Battle.net.exe and you should be good to go!
